OTHER ACTIVITIES

Emboo River is located in a small forest along a river bend, making it a perfect spot to unwind and feel one with nature.  Wake up to the songs of birds. Read a book under the shade of our ancient fig tree. Meditate to the sound of the river flowing by.

Do you want to relax even further? Here are some activities which you could enjoy:

  • Enjoy a dip in Emboo River's natural swimming pool that overlooks the river and the grasslands beyond. Spot giraffes, hippos, elephants, waterbucks, zebras, crocodiles and many more animals from this oasis. Emboo River's swimming pool is natural, meaning that we use zero chemicals such as chlorine or salt to keep it clean. This way we bring no toxins to the Maasai Mara and you can enjoy a fresh dip in clean and soft water. Click here to find out how our sustainable swimming pool works.

  • Relax in Emboo River's Spa surrounded by nature. The spa treatments are inspired by the unique eco system of the Maasai Mara and use local and organic ingredients. Click here to see the spa menu and dream about treatments with names such as 'Serene Savannah' and 'Lush Lavender'. *
